Jacqui will be speaking on Sunday week the 14th and then holding three Wednesday evening sessions (7.30pm to 8.45pm in the chapel) all around the subject of “How to Get the Most Out of Scripture”.

I know some home groups are considering going to those sessions as a home group, so feel free to do so if you think that would fit your people.

Here’s how they will roll out:

• Sunday 14 Aug - Introduction (5 random verses, 4 gaps to bridge, and 3 textual considerations)

• 1st Wed - Reading verses in context (2 x NT and 2 x OT examples)

• 2nd Wed - The difference genre makes (Examples from Daniel, Revelation, Proverbs, and the Prophets).

• 3rd Wed - Making sense of cultural differences, the Bible's grand narrative, and the journey from original manuscript to multiple translations.
