Loving God, Loving Others

Together and Expectant

Kia ora and welcome

DISCOVERING A BIGGER GOD . . . AND
HOW THAT CHANGES EVERYTHING

Standing at night on Pakiri Beach - 14km of sand stretching out right and left, the Milky Way sparkling, stars reflected in the receding tide, the fish biting (or not!) - is one of my favourite ways of rediscovering who God is.
It gives me a whole new perspective on my problems, my dreams, my joys, my disappointments. And as that perspective takes hold, I can almost physically feel expectation growing in my heart.
This week at Shore Vineyard's morning service (10am at church or on Facebook Live), I want to speak expectation into these uncertain, worrying times. I want to remind us of the bigness of God, of his plan for us, of a different perspective to whatever is happening in our lives.
I hope you can join me for Together and . . . Expectant, plus worship with our own Moz Harris and guest worship leader Andrew Pocklington from Coast Vineyard. Plus kids programmes, Seek starting for term 3 . . . it's going to be great.

Still Together, everyone!
