looking at the questions God may ask of us in the midst of our current uncertainty.
Fraser Craig,
Breathe

Vic Francis
What is SVC doing and why, and where is it likely to take us? Join us Sunday as Vic Francis shares his message Next Room, opening up on what he says is the most unprecedented time in his nearly 30 years pastoring. 10am and 5pm vaccine pass in church; 10am open in chapel; 10am on Facebook Live. Hope you can be with us.
Fraser Craig
Please join us on Sunday - 10am vaccine pass, midday open - as our Children's Pastor Fraser Craig speaks on "A Childlike Becoming", exploring Jesus and his invitation to innocence, faith and the Kingdom of God. Plus worship, communion, children's and youth programmes. It'll be much better if you're there too!
Saying Yes to God
Saying yes to God isn’t always easy, so what is it that stops us? This Sunday, Shore Vineyard Youth Pastor Carly Armstrong will be looking at our responses when God calls us and the reality of God’s promises to us each time he calls.
The Indescribable Gift
We'll be exploring the gift of 2022 from 2 Corinthians 9, particularly the magnificent verse 15, "Thanks be to God for his indescribable gift!"

Celebrating love - "the greatest of the them all" - with you on Sunday.
Advent three: Joy
Shore Vineyard is excited to again be meeting this Sunday, the joyful third week of Advent
Advent two: Hope

Advent one: Peace
This Sunday, November 28, we exchanged ordinary time for extraordinary time! It's the first Sunday of Advent and that's worth getting out of bed for! We would love you to join us for Green Church on Sunday (check out svc.org.nz for times and places) to begin our Advent pilgrimage. Blessings one and all!
Green Church
Reason to Celebrate
Kia ora! This Sunday we’re focusing on celebration as we head outdoors at 10am and 5pm for Green Church II
Tim on The Way
Enjoy Tim Wood’s thoughts on a Sunday when (if you are willing to brave the weather) we’re also meeting around the North Shore in 25s.
Lockdown Lessons that will last a Lifetime.
Turning the Page
Sunday, November 7, is the 12th and last of our online Kai + Kōrero + Karakia services - with us entering a Green Church, outdoors phase from the following Sunday, November 14.
So please join me on Sunday as I reflect back on nearly three months without church, and project forward into God’s new chapter.

Being Incarnational
Kia ora, Shore Vineyard whānau
I've been thinking this week about what it means to be incarnational in a lockdown, what it's like to apply our faith into the world around us when the chances to be together are so restricted. I'll be naming some tangible things we can be and do in this time.

Sustaining Practices for the Static Journey
Calvin Culverwell is speaking on Sustaining Practices for the Static Journey, exploring the pursuit of mental well-being during lockdown and presenting some contemplative practices to help us navigate the uncertainty of these times. Resources are here.
Unlocking Lockdown
In a week that we've been given a slight respite to catch up with family and friends, I've been pondering from my bedroom/Zoom room/office what lessons we can learn from lockdown that might last for a lifetime. Questions here.
Why, God?
Quiet Miracles
This Sunday Tim Wood is getting in touch with his Franciscan side and will be sharing about the quiet miracles in everyday life, and how they invite us into wonder and wisdom.
Finale
Eight weeks of asking Why, God? come to a conclusion this Sunday, September 26, with our senior pastor Vic Francis bringing together the various thoughts of the past couple of months (most of which have been in lockdown) and looking forward as part of Kai + Kōrero + Karakia (food + conversation + prayer) in our bubbles.
Faith in Transition
What do you do when your faith hits a speed bump? Or, more worryingly, it gets shipwrecked? Or the God who seemed so close now seems so distant? Often these experiences happen as a result of faith transitions , Fran Francis gives us insights into negotiating these transitions and connecting or reconnecting with God in the process.
Learning to Lament
As we continue our pilgrimage journey, even when the wheels have fallen off. This week Tim will be inviting us to explore our grief, loss and creativity as we participate in the ancient tradition of learning to lament

Broad Shoulders
On Father’s Day, Vic brings a celebration of those who have carried us and a lament for those who haven’t.

Taha Hinengaro
(Mental and Emotional Wellbeing)
Amid the many stresses of life in lockdown, taking care of our emotional and mental wellbeing is of utmost importance. This Sunday, August 29, Shore Vineyard's Why, God? focus moves to this critical topic, including tips and resources to strengthen our mental wellbeing in this difficult season. Makerita Siaosi will lead the conversation, which we're calling Taha Hinengaro (Mental and Emotional Wellbeing), along with experts in the field and people who have travelled the mental wellness journey.

In the Desert
As we head back into Level 4, Fran brings our journey to the desert. There are about 300 references to deserts and wildernesses in the Bible; five different kinds of wild are described/experienced by our ancestors in the faith. Which of these sounds like your experience? Take the Scripture as a little note from God “who sees you”.
