Think Again: Believe

Do you think you can ever be so far from God that there's no way back? Or that you can be so close to God and yet completely miss him?
That seems to me the plight of the lost sons (plural intended) of Luke 15 - backs turned, fixed in wrong belief and desperately in need of meeting a loving Father.
